My friend Jim Tierney had wanted me to make a short film out of one of my fictional stories for some time.  (Hopefully starring himself, of course.)  He finally got me to commit after being regaled with one of my crazier TRUE stories one late night at work.  And yes - he ended up playing the lead role - alongside his then-current girlfriend (and future wife!) Rachel.
